Exhibition of woodcarving artist Igor Frolov "Carved Fairytale"


On February 1 the Regional Center of Folk Art of Vladimir opened an exhibition of Suzdal woodcarving artist Igor Nikolaevich Frolov "Carved Fairytale". The exhibition presents 47 carved unpainted figures of people and animals based on fairy tales, proverbs, sayings and legends. Among them are merchants "Luka Lukich" and "Time is money", elderly men and women, cats, rabbits, bears, lions and others. Toys that get out from the master's hands are sweet, simple and really "alive ". All items are made of linden with one tool in the author's manner "technique of one cutter."

The exhibition is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the master's professional activity and will run until the end of February.
