   I'm a University student from San Francisco, visiting Russia. I bought three pieces of your embroidery at Suzdal yesterday. I wanted to let you know that I think your work is beautiful, and that I'm glad I found you and your son. I will give the embroidered bird earrings to my Mom (she loves birds), and they will be a reminder of my time in Russia that we will both cherish. Thanks for doing what you do. :)

  Suzdal was a wonderfully ancient town of churches and kind simple people. We experienced the purity of easy living and mastership of arts. We walked on the snowy quiet streets admiring the gorgeous surroundings. We had a very welcoming, knowledgeable guide Maria who made us feel that we belonged there and taught us so much about the history of Suzdal. We saw real blacksmiths creating works of art and even were able to take a craftsmen class and learned how to make a Russian doll. Both my daughter and I loved our warm experience in Suzdal and can't wait to go back.
